Downtown restaurants win “As Fresh as it Gets” awards

Congratulations to Viognier, 31st Union, Bay Watch Restaurant, Joy Sushi, and THREE Restaurant & Bar for being recognized in the 2017-2018 San Mateo County “As Fresh as it Gets” program.

The program is a partnership of the San Mateo County Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Farm Bureau, in cooperation with the San Mateo County Harbor District. Awards are given to restaurants  that go out of their way to buy and serve fresh local products.  Owners, managers and chefs from the winning restaurants are invited on a farm tour once a year to meet local farmers, fishermen, wine makers and brewers, helping to build relationships between restaurateurs and local producers.
